This demonstration is an interactive 3D tool that visualizes convective flow through a surface. It allows you to explore how the orientation of a surface and the direction of a fluid's flow affect the amount of substance passing through it. Current Vector represents the direction and magnitude of the flow of a substance. You can adjust its components to see how the flow changes. Surface Normal Vector is perpendicular to the surface and represents its orientation. You can rotate the surface to change the direction of this vector. The dot product quantifies the component of the flow that is perpendicular to the surface. Its value determines the flow rate per unit area and is directly related to the length of the projected vector.
